Elissa Slotkin is a true warrior and patriot! The problem is that those who need to see her In action won't. It was suggested sometime ago (Timothy Snyder?) that Democrats form a "shadow cabinet"-made up of a few Democrats who could be spokespeople and expose the damage being done by the Trump regime. Elissa Slotkin would be the perfect "shadow Defense Secretary". Their take-downs could become public service announcements exposing MAGA cabinet members as ball-less "yes men"-which might open some eyes and minds!

Excellent summary of his testimony, Ron. Senator Duckworth, a veteran, gave him a quite a few good punches as well.

I watched her honest questioning. She was so on point, as were Tammy Duckworth and Jacky Rosen. The feckless Hegseth proved himself a Trump sycophant and clown. The hearings were dead serious given the urgency of the moment, yet the NYT headline called this hearing mere "squabbling." Talk about no guts, no balls.

She's why MAGA want women to just stay at home and raise babies...they scare the shit out of them!

We clearly saw one person with character and courage and one with no character and afraid to speak out due to cowardice.

The contagion of stupidity has enabled the Trump team to undermine democracy at home and diminish influence abroad.

How did these idiots hijack the decision in the White House?

Kudos to Slotkin, but it's disappointing she, along with seventeen other Democrats, backed the GENIUS Act at a time when Trump and his foreign and domestic associates are clearly, grossly abusing crypto for their gain. But a version of that bill was going to pass anyway, no matter if it was a Democrat or Republican president in office, as both parties were lobbied to the hilt to pass legislation to legitimize crypto.
