“Journalistic Humility!” A lost art? Thank you for sharing this important perspective, and I wish for journalists to take this to heart.

I agree with your advice! I find that journalists need to vent and when they do i hear a voice i seldom use. I don't use vulgar language but wish i could and i hear my words without saying them out loud! I grew up in a family where "shut up" was forbidden🤣although we were aloud to think it! I get a kick out of the authors on Substacks use the words i cannot say! The closest i come is my husbands famous expression "S P AND C which STANDS FOR shit, piss and corruption🤣🤣

Writers need to vent,laugh and adopt S P C if not one of there expressive words. see humor and encourage and know that many identify with your frustration too. But just cant express it the same way. Encourage folks to Be sure to read the folks who help sooth your heart and give you respite too. Thanks for your post Susan🥰
