Let’s have some fun with the latest Washington Post story on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and break it down paragraph by paragraph.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “President Donald Trump said Friday that he had not contemplated pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell, a former associate of deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein, as she met for a second day with a senior Justice Department official for an hours-long interview.”
WHAT IT MEANS: If she’s willing to claim Trump was not complicit in Epstein’s sex trafficking and underage sex schemes, he’ll give her a pardon.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “An attorney for Maxwell said she was asked about potentially ‘100 different people’ and ‘answered every single question’ posed by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche during the meeting in Tallahassee, not far from the low-security federal prison where she is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.”
WHAT IT MEANS: Giving an answer isn’t the same as telling the truth. She may have lied about 100 different people.
WHAT WHAT WAS REPORTED: “Maxwell’s attorney, David Oscar Markus, said she had not sought or agreed to any deals with the Trump administration. ‘There’s been no asks and no promises,’ he said.”
WHAT IT MEANS: There were asks and promises.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “‘She answered those questions honestly, truthfully, to the best of her ability,” Markus told reporters. ‘She never invoked a privilege. Never refused to answer a question. We’re very proud of her and proud of how the process worked over the past day and a half.”’
WHAT IT MEANS: She’ll do or say anything for a pardon.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “Trump has faced sustained criticism about his Justice Department’s handling of the Epstein and Maxwell sex-trafficking cases. Some members of his right-wing base have decried the administration’s decision not to fulfill its pledge to release more details from the investigations.”
WHAT IT MEANS: He’s desperate.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “When Trump landed in Scotland on Friday, he was again asked about Maxwell and expressed further annoyance at the questions. The president said he did not know what Maxwell and Blanche discussed. ‘I haven’t really been following it,’ he told reporters.”
WHAT IT MEANS: Trump’s been following this case like a starving lion follows a wounded gazelle: Intensely.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “Epstein’s connections to many powerful and prominent figures — among them Trump and former president Bill Clinton — helped fuel conspiracy theories about the circumstances of his death and whether others might have been complicit in his actions.”
WHAT IT MEANS: Trump fueled and leveraged the conspiracy theories to activate voters animated by them. Now, like the fictional Dr. Victor Frankenstein, he’s begging the monster not to turn against him.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “‘People should really focus on how well the country is doing,’ Trump said, adding later that he has ‘nothing to do with the guy.’”
WHAT IT MEANS: He had too much to do with that guy.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “In an unorthodox move, (Deputy Attorney General Todd) Blanche traveled to the Florida capital to conduct the interview, spending much of Thursday and the first half of Friday speaking with Maxwell.”
WHAT IT MEANS: If the gazelle won’t come to the lion, the lion will send his pride to the gazelle.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “The agency last week asked courts to make public grand jury testimony from investigations into Epstein and Maxwell, citing ‘extensive public interest.”’
WHAT IT MEANS: The grand jury testimony poses no threat to Trump. But his name surfaces repeatedly in the secret Epstein investigation files that he refuses to release.
WHAT WAS REPORTED: “While Markus said his client had not made any deals with the Trump administration so far, he declined to say whether she was hoping to reach an agreement to shorten or nullify her sentence.”
WHAT IT MEANS: I’ll repeat. If she’s willing to claim Trump was not complicit in Epstein’s sex trafficking and underage sex schemes, she’ll get her pardon.

Fox News last night pushed Obama was a bad president. This is a whole hoax and conspiracy by Obama Biden Comey
The Republicans are repeating the same stuff as they take an extra week and leave town so they could say they weren’t around same thing as Trump going to Scotland. “Oh, I wasn’t there. I have no idea what was going on.”
It is the typical manipulative playbook.
Thank goodness, the curtain is being pulled back and ordinary Americans are AWAKE understanding the playbook getting informed becoming knowledgeable and engaged.
These people are horrible guilty people doing the highest levels of extreme scapegoating, pathological, lying, and gaslighting. They all want to be and act like Trump.
Laura Ingraham was talking about how the Democrats brought up Epstein. It was Elon Musk that dropped the Epstein bomb on Trump.
The way they talk about everybody else with their devious twisted minds is nothing but psychological projection
They talk so disturbing nobody normal talks like they do.
They can all wear as many crosses on their neck as they want, but nothing they’re doing has anything to do with Christianity.
Christian nationalism goes hand-in-hand with fascism and authoritarianism and one national religion to indoctrinate and brainwash.
Trump has sued Rupert Murdoch wouldn’t it be great if Murdoch fired all of the Fox News people for helping Trump trying to negate what the Wall Street has reported basically working against Murdoch???
I can’t even watch them. They’re so horrible.
They need to be off the air. They are abusing the American people.
There are more people getting informed and have knowledge of what’s going on, and everybody needs to stay together, pushing back, always unraveling this craziness that they continue to do. They are just twisting everybody out into thin air with nonsense.
The only way to deal with it is to unravel it over and over and over again, keeping the truth and the thread of reality front and center .
I find it impossible to believe anyone in this regime will do the right or lawful thing. Everything they are engaged in smells foul
