In a modern-day kangaroo court: Rene Nicole Good was tried, convicted, and sentenced to death by Trump and his team of lying jackals.

THIS DAVID WHAMOND cartoon illustrates how the Trump administration’s lies, rhetoric, and policies came together on a wintry street in Minnesota to kill a young American mother in cold blood.
But the treachery doesn’t end there.
In a highly unusual move, the FBI on Thursday seized full control of the investigation into the fatal shooting of Rene Nicole Goode by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, icing out the Minnesota State Police and the Minneapolis police.
Who now controls the investigation?
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who called the victim “a domestic terrorist,” an absolutely unfounded claim.
President Trump, who said the victim ran over the ICE agent. Any reasonable person watching the video knows that’s a lie.
Vice President JD Vance, who blamed the shooting on the victim, also without evidence, much less the benefit of an investigation.
It’s a modern-day kangaroo court: Good was tried, convicted, and sentenced to death by these MAGA jackals.
They let the ICE agent roam Minneapolis streets with a mask, a gun, and a hair trigger — and now they are going to try to give him a stay-out-of-jail card.
Still not identified to the public that pays him, the ICE agent needs to submit to a thorough and objective investigation. A grand jury should decide whether to charge him, and if one does, a jury should determine his fate.
That is how American justice works. When it works.
THIS IS WHAT we know about Good, according to Reuters:
The Washington Post reported that her daughter is 15 and her two sons are 12 and 6. ICE orphaned them.
She won an undergraduate poetry prize, according to a 2020 Facebook post by the school’s English Department, which described her a Colorado Springs, Colorado, native. “When she is not writing, reading, or talking about writing, she has movie marathons and makes messy art with her daughter and two sons,” the Facebook post said.
Good was active as a volunteer in a network of “neighborhood patrols” comprising hundreds of community members and organized by local activists to track, monitor and record ICE operations in Minneapolis, according to Michelle Gross, president of the Minnesota-based Community United Against Police Brutality and a paralegal for the National Lawyers Guild.
Gross, who told Reuters she had “first-hand” knowledge of Good’s participation in the ICE-”observer” patrols, said “that’s what she was doing” when she was confronted and shot by a federal agent.
Good’s ex-husband, who asked not to be named out of concern for the safety of their children, told the Associated Press that Good and her current partner had moved to Minneapolis last year from Kansas City, Missouri. Her ex-husband said Good and her current partner had just dropped off her 6-year-old son at school on Wednesday and were driving home when they encountered ICE agents.
THIS IS WHAT we know about incident, according to The Associated Press:
“Videos taken by bystanders with different vantage points and posted to social media show an officer approaching an SUV stopped across the middle of the road, demanding the driver open the door and grabbing the handle. The SUV begins to pull forward and a different ICE officer standing in front of the vehicle pulls his weapon and immediately fires at least two shots into the SUV at close range, jumping back as the vehicle moves toward him.”
From what I could see from the video, the masked agent had sidestepped the moving car and shot the unarmed mother a point-blank range as she passed, her car wheels turned away from the agent. That’s not self-defense.
Before the shooting, Good waved her left arm out of the driver’s side window — a gesture that a juror might recognize as waving ICE agents past her car. In other words, cooperating.
THESE ARE MY bottom lines:
Defying a police order is not a capital offense.
Opposing ICE is not a capital offense.
Trump, Vance, and Noem are liars, not jurors
What do you think? If I’m wrong, please explain how.

The fact that the FBI has taken over the case and is not allowing any state investigation screams guilt. Of course they don't want anyone else investigating this. Someone else might just discover and prove that Noem, Trump, Vance, etc., are lying.
I’ve read an unverified comment that Good had just dropped her child off – that somebody got out of the car before she pulled into the street. The car in front of her was another drop off car and they were waiting to turn and leave. Nothing to do with the presence of ICE, it is suggested. Although the comment is unverified, it makes sense to me, given the positions of the cars, etc.
